Ga Lay LED lights emerged on the scene with a mission to provide consumers with high-quality LED lighting options that are both sustainable and energy-efficient. Within a year of its inception, the business captured the hearts of customers and quickly gained a solid reputation for its top-notch products.
The journey of Ga Lay LED lights was not without its challenges. Initially, the market was flooded with imported LED products from other countries, making it difficult for the homegrown brand to gain traction. However, Durgay saw this as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. He aimed to offer higher quality LEDs that would surpass the imported alternatives, and he dedicated his efforts to advertising the products and services to meet the demands and needs of potential customers.

Born to farmer parents, entrepreneurship was not in Durgay’s blood. He did not pursue a business education during his school and college days. However, his unyielding enthusiasm for learning and exploring new avenues motivated him to embark on this entrepreneurial journey. He drew inspiration from a few successful entrepreneurs and their enterprises, using their achievements as fuel to drive him forward.
While funding from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Employment (MoICE) provided a strong financial foundation for Ga Lay LED lights, it was Durgay’s personal investment and relentless efforts that shaped its success. With a singular focus on providing top-quality LED lighting solutions, Ga Lay LED lights soon became synonymous with excellence and innovation.

When asked about his advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, Durgay emphasized the importance of determination and perseverance. According to him, qualifications, family backgrounds, or technical knowledge should not deter anyone from pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams.
