Nima, a Communications Officer at WWF-Bhutan, has spent the past few years shaping the organization’s voice and expanding its outreach. Since joining in 2021, Nima has leveraged his media relations, strategic communications, and event management expertise to spearhead initiatives that align with WWF-Bhutan’s conservation mission.

Before WWF-Bhutan, Nima was a Bureau Correspondent for Kuensel, where his insightful coverage of rural issues highlighted the challenges faced by Bhutan’s remote communities. His in-depth reporting on climate change solidified his expertise in communicating complex issues that affect both local and global audiences.

Nima’s contributions extend beyond communications, as he serves as an interim member of the Senior Management Team at WWF-Bhutan. His dedication was recognized in 2024 when he received the Extra Mile Award. With a PG Diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism, Nima’s passion for storytelling continues to inspire and drive change.
