To further his expertise, he is currently conducting research for his Phd on the topic: “Digital Transformation and Its Impact on Operational Management in the Media Sector: Challenges and Opportunities.”
Beyond his work in the media sector, Pema is a published author. His works include “India & South Asia: Exploring Regional Perceptions” (published by IDSA, New Delhi, India, 2015), “Managing the Impact of Climate Change in South Asia” (published by the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Germany), and “Road Safety” (published by the World Health Organization, 2016).
Pema is also an avid hiker. He has completed most of the major short hikes across Bhutan and has partially completed the renowned Snowman Trek—one of the most challenging treks in the world. It remains his goal to complete the full trek in the future when time permits.
Recently, Pema successfully completed the De-suung Training (68th Executive Batch). He has long been engaged in voluntary service, contributing his skills in accounting and administration to various organizations. Through De-suung, he is deeply honored to serve His Majesty the King’s noble vision for the Garden of Peace initiative.
