The Khengrig Namsum Cooperative (KNC)has been in operation since its establishment from September 9, 2014 after having received the Cooperative Registered Card (No.COOP-36) from the Department of Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests (Annexure 1). It was established with an objective to contribute for improving the livelihood of the people of Zhemgang Dzongkhag. The cooperative is guided by cooperative principles and values and operates within the framework of existing cooperative legislations of the Country.The cooperative has 16dedicated and committed youth members(9 females and 7 males) with a minimum qualification of high school standard and they represent all 8 Gewogs of the Dzongkhag.
