Roshan Chhetri, a 26-year-old forensic science graduate, defied limited job opportunities in his field by venturing into the world of entrepreneurship.
Today, he celebrates a significant achievement as he clinched the second prize at the esteemed Springboard Plus 2023 Award Ceremony, securing a cash prize of Nu. 300,000/-.
His startup, Gyelrab Analytics, aims to revolutionize data utilization and analytics in Bhutan, particularly within the realm of entrepreneurship.
After encountering limited job prospects in his field of study, Roshan decided to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship. He participated in various training programs and startup initiatives, which solidified his belief in the need for improved data and analytics utilization in Bhutan.
Recognizing this gap, he co-founded Gyelrab Analytics alongside his partner, Ugyen, with a modest grant of just a hundred thousand.
In January 2023, Roshan’s entrepreneurial journey reached new heights as he joined the second cohort of the renowned #SpringboardPlus Programme. Over the span of six months, he immersed himself in critical training sessions and online learning programs, delving into essential aspects of startup acceleration, such as product-market fit, e-commerce, crowdfunding, and gender inclusivity.
