When asked about the studio’s mission, Phub shared, “We aim to provide our clients with a seamless experience, leveraging our creative prowess, efficient workflows, and the ability to bring their visions to life.” Thinley Animation Studio caters to clients ranging from start-ups to established firms and individuals, both nationally and internationally.
With a comprehensive range of services including 3D modeling, character animation, visual effects (VFX), and game animation, Thinley Animation Studio harnesses cutting-edge techniques to create visually stunning and lifelike imagery. By infusing life into objects, characters, and settings, the studio captivates audiences with its eye-catching animations.
Moreover, the studio’s expertise extends beyond animated graphics. Thinley Animation Studio collaborates with filmmakers and advertisers to enhance live-action footage using visual effects (VFX) techniques. This seamless integration of animation and live action helps create a more immersive and visually impactful experience for viewers.
However, amidst their remarkable success, Thinley Animation Studio faces a significant challenge—finding skilled human resources in Bhutan who possess the necessary expertise in animation. Implementing advanced software and technology and training staff members remain arduous tasks. Phub Tshering acknowledged this struggle, stating, “Training staff members and acquiring human resources in Bhutan is a challenging endeavor.”
Phub’s unwavering dedication and clear vision have been the driving forces behind his entrepreneurial journey. To achieve his goals, he has spent countless days and nights in front of the computer, tirelessly working to establish his studio and attract clients. “Running an animation studio is challenging, especially when competing with already established and renowned companies. It demands numerous sacrifices,” Phub admitted.
Nevertheless, Thinley Animation Studio firmly believes that a strong attitude and unwavering enthusiasm towards their goals enable them to appreciate and conquer every challenge. His commitment to excellence and the pursuit of creative possibilities sets them apart in the animation industry.
